Swingers Funclub actively contributes to a positive image of swinging. To that end, it cooperates with the media once in a while to present this positive image. If Swingers Funclub cooperates with media, it always thoroughly informs itself (to the extent possible) about the journalists' intentions. Swingers Funclub only cooperates with media that portray swinging in an honest way, tastefully and respectfully.

In January 2006, Swingers Funclub was approached by Cosmopolitan Magazine asking whether we would work with them on a large informative article about swinging. We enthusiastically embraced this chance to legitimize swinging. It became a good and honest three-page article and starts on page 56 of Cosmopolitan's April/May 2006 issue.

In July 2007 Swingers Funclub was also approached and asked to help the TV program Way of Life. The female half of "Kian" was interviewed about the swingers' world. The approach of this program was to paint as realistic and honest a picture as possible of swinging. Not sensational TV, but a realistic look at the swingers’ life. This program contributed to a better view of the swingers' world.

Swingers Funclub also offered its help to informational meetings and conferences organized by Soa Aids Netherlands and Emergency Health Services. In lectures, Swingers Funclub has given information about the swingers' world and their (risk) behavior.
